EV Scope

What EV Scope does

EV Scope is a free companion app for electric vehicles manufactured by Stellantis brands (Citroën, Peugeot, DS, Opel, Vauxhall). It displays vehicle data such as battery level, charging status, trip history, and maintenance information.

Data we access

When you log in with your Stellantis account, the app retrieves the following data through the official Stellantis API:

• Vehicle identification (VIN, model, brand)
• Battery level, range, and charging status
• Trip history and energy consumption
• Maintenance schedule
• Vehicle location (last known position)
• Odometer reading

This data is displayed in the app and is never transmitted to any server other than the Stellantis API. No data is stored on external servers operated by EV Scope.

Authentication

EV Scope uses the official Stellantis OAuth 2.0 authentication flow. Your login credentials are entered directly on the Stellantis login page and are never accessed, seen, or stored by EV Scope. The app only receives a temporary access token from Stellantis, which is stored locally on your device and used to retrieve your vehicle data.

Data storage

The only data stored on your device is:

• Your Stellantis authentication token (to keep you logged in)
• Your brand and country selection

This data is stored in the app's private storage on your device and is removed when you log out or uninstall the app. No data is stored in the cloud, on remote servers, or shared with any third party.

Third-party services

EV Scope does not use analytics, advertising, tracking, or crash reporting services. The app communicates exclusively with the Stellantis Connected Car API to retrieve vehicle data. No data is sent to Google, Facebook, or any other third party.

Children's privacy

EV Scope is not directed at children under the age of 13 and does not knowingly collect any information from children.

Independence

EV Scope is an independent application. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Citroën, Peugeot, DS, Opel, Vauxhall, Stellantis, or any of their affiliated companies.

Changes to this policy

If this privacy policy is updated, the revised version will be published at this URL. The app does not collect personal data, so changes are unlikely to affect you.
